France

France has remained a pure transit country for us so far. I was there for a few weeks shortly before I met Kathy. Nevertheless, we have together never stayed there longer than necessary, because from our point of view France is not really well designed for digital nomads in a van. Starting with prohibition signs and ending with height restrictions. On top of that, it’s not exactly affordable. Maybe our opinion will change at some point and we will discover a longer stay in France for us as well.

Muk erkundet etwas die Umgebung. Damit sie nicht zu weit läuft, hat sie eine Leine.

Zwar nicht exakt Frankreich, aber trotzdem wunderschön. Hier standen wir auf einem Rastplatz, an dem man Monaco überblicken konnte.

Wenn Muk so am Van steht, dann hofft sie, dass etwas Essbares für sie abfällt.

Hier hatten wir an irgend einem Hafen Halt gemacht. Durch den anliegenden Yachtverein hatten wir sogar warme Duschen.

Muk ist auch immer für einen schönen Ausblick am Meer zu haben.

We visited one of the most beautiful beaches in Bulgaria. Perla Beach near Primorsko is an absolute insider tip, especially in the off-season. Even on the weekends only moderately visited, you can park here with the van only a few meters from the beach and black sea.

The idea behind VollzeitVanlife

How does the idea of cramming one’s entire life into one or, in our case, two vans and simply traveling through Europe come about? Good question! I would say it was a combination of adventurousness, challenge, the desire for minimalism and more sustainable living, coupled with a short period of terrible apartment hunting.

From this the idea was born to simply travel, live and work remote as a digital nomad through Europe.
